Fascinating to read of Fiona (and David) being one in the poetry writing/creative fields, I don't put much into thought of gain anymore. I know in my life I could use the financial boost, however currently the greatest aspects for me, are the acquired friendships, and heart put so much within it. Per our discussions on twitter lastnight, I think that if anything could ever be gained from it all (in assets) I know a lot of gratitude would be for the constant encouragement from other great writing talents. They are a great reward. Despite some of the negativity we cannot sometimes completely avoid (as the way life is) they help me to keep the dream a bit more alive, keep the concepts of beauty beyond the surface realm, in kindness of heart, and showing me aspects in of themselves of things true and lasting. Added within are the elements of artists, painting their depictions in their own right, I cannot turn away from, a love lingering in sights I can see directly, or envision into in the abstract. Much the same in passions for photography (which I step into as well.) Then the reading of others' work, when I do, it's almost like a firsthand look into the heart of them, because I know it is of me, and there is so very much there it is hard to grasp it all. A smile in those thoughts dear friend. This to me is all inspiring. This is truly what it is all about. The rest if and when it does come...one step at a time...and the gratefulness again for those that brought me to that point. Without them...it would all be worthless.
